Chief Minister of Telangana, Dr. Revanth Reddy, called on the Honorable Union Minister of Food, Shri Pralhad Joshi, on March. 4th, 2025, to deliberate on the significant questions relating to food distribution and civil supplies in the state.

Also present during this crucial meeting were Minister of Irrigation Telangana State Shri Uttam Kumar Reddy and the discussions of the prevailing issues brought forward within the state in these areas.

At the meeting, Dr. Revanth Reddy pointed out that policy intervention should be highlighted on the need for the improvement of food distribution systems to create a seamless and efficient supply-chain mechanism for the people of Telangana. It was emphasized that timely food deliveries and much-needed supplies should be made available, mainly in rural and unserved areas.

The Chief Minister also requested the Union Minister's support in order to address these issues concerning Telangana. He insisted on a more coordinated relation between the state and the center so that the supplies and distribution system would function without any hitches. This would benefit the people, reducing unprecedented breaks in the chain of distribution.

It is in light of the above that the interaction between the Chief Minister and the Central Minister formulates a mindset into the food security system, tweaking each variable for full-frontal sponsorship of the state programs. The hope is that with best policy instruments, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will improve civil supplies and food distribution framework in Telangana, such that the state would be best placed to tackle her citizens' needs.
